President Joe Biden gave a prime time address to the nation, speaking about Israel, but

not just Israel, Ukraine also linking the righteousness of each cause of each American

ally in each conflict.

But there are differences, of course, which Biden went out of his way to recognize.

The aggressor in Ukraine is Putin, repelled the aggressor they must.

The attacker in Gaza is Hamas, but to go forward to root out Hamas, necessarily put civilians

in harm's way, and Biden did not ignore this.

Like so many other, I'm heartbroken by the tragic loss of Palestinian life, including

the explosion at the hospital in Gaza, which was not done by the Israelis.

We mourn every innocent life lost.

We can't ignore humanity of innocent Palestinians who only want to live in peace and have an

opportunity.

Over the last few days, Biden has given speeches about the conflict in Israel that have been

held as some of the best of his career.

And not because they included zero hiccups or forgotten anecdotes, I was going to play

one such instant, but I just don't want to diminish him or the moment that's not the

point.

But diminishing Biden is, of course, the stock and trade of conservative media, much of conservative

media was watching some Fox and Brutum and others said, actually, that was an excellent

speech.
