On Sunday night, President Trump signed both the $900 billion COVID-19 relief bill,

along with the government funding bill, avoiding a government shutdown.

President signed the bills after advocating for a $2,000 stimulus check for Americans

and challenging the omnibus spending bill,

which he asserted contained too much pork and unnecessary spending.
