Hello, welcome to this week's podcast. Once again this week it is Robbie and myself

in For Simon and Mark. Hello. Just before we get onto this week's show, a couple of really good

emails from people. First up, this is a really serious and need some thought this I think from

Matt Erlich. Dear substitute doctors emergency consultation required. I'm hoping to take advantage

of Edith's hosting this week to seek her counsel, education on a marital dispute. Oh God.

Irish son Haras in his two and a half years old and has taken to enjoying films usually in a

couple of settings. Thus far he's enjoyed the despicable me films Paddington, Toy Story trilogy

and a major milestone as important as potty training to me. He did a complete setting of Na'ne McFee.

This has now led to the inevitable question of when shall we go to the cinema for his first trip

and what shall we see. So far my partner Nikki has suggested an Easter holiday trip to see either

Dumbled or Peppa Peck. I want Haras's first visit to the cinema to be a film worthy of being his

first. My first cinema trips with my parents were reissues of Snow White and Milly Poppins

followed by ET and Return of the Jedi. Nikki cannot see why I'm insisting Haras in his first film

should be a classic so he can thank us in 20 years time, giving him not remember the experience.

I'm holding out for Toy Story 4, a risky strategy I know. Should I just give up? Or is this

choice of film really as important as I'm making it out to be? Your progress is eagerly awaited, Matt.

It's a tricky one. So here's my experience with my two boys in that I went to a lot of

baby and me screenings when they were babies. So if you're kind of being sort of quite specific

about it, the spikes first ever film he saw was The Great Gatsby by Buzz Lerman. So I think that

I don't know what about if you just get him used to the cinema now so Peppa Peck would be a

good start I think in terms of it's not too long. I think the even subtitle that was my first cinema
