EV fires that's what we're talking about in this episode

because he's been in the news a lot and there's been lots of stories about it.

There's been lots of talking about electric car fires and I've had in the olden days on Twitter.

I used to get lots of those sort of comments like I wouldn't drive one of your

electric cars they all catch fire and all that stuff and there's been a huge

amount of of reporting about them you know a bit being blamed for fires when actually it was a

diesel car or a hybrid car that caught fire not on an electric car. Anyway, all that is

put into beautiful, open, honest, statistically based research-based information by today's guest.

So Emma Sutcliffe is an Australian has numerous roles, but one of them is in the Australian Fire Service. She puts out fires and

a tends road traffic accidents and obviously in Australia bush fires on a fairly chunky basis when that happens.

And she's an extraordinary woman.

I met her in Norway earlier this year and I just know what

she the database and the web page that she is part of producing is really worth checking out.

and statistical storage of what is actually happening with electric vehicle fires.

Because as we say right at the beginning, all machines that human beings make can go wrong.

Nothing is foolproof and as MS8 states on numerous occasions all electric

batteries can catch fire. They all can. Do they? Very, very, very rarely.
