colsoncenter.org. Well, John, let's jump right into questions today because we've got a lot of

interesting ones. There are a lot of movements on social media calling for revival, this listener

says. Some leaders are hosting massive worship

gatherings. Others are doing prayer seminars online, and they all seem to be calling American

Christians to wake up and exercise our liberties and oppose the oppression we are starting

to feel in our country. While it is interesting, I've been having a hard time participating because

of how it's presented, that somehow

America is our country and we need to take it back. I can't find this idea supported in

scripture, and it may be that the Bible follows Israel from captivity to captivity. Where should

the church be right now? Is it important to defend and protect our rights to sort of take up

arms and hold the line?

Or should we be preparing for coming persecution? Like what I see, the call of Christians more inside

scripture? I don't think it's a mutually exclusive options as long as we define it correctly.

You know, prayer seminars online, calling Americans to stand up and exercise liberties and all that.

None of that's bad in and of itself.
