There's this rush of new energies and possibilities and intentions and people talk about resolutions

and it's a new year.

What do you want to do with it?

If you heard anybody say it's 2022, let's do this.

That's not the mood.

Normally this episode would have like first episode of the year energy, but our daughter

violet didn't go to school for the first couple of days this week because of infection

rates and I have friends in different parts of the country who have had, like they're

literally canceling thousands of flights a day and some people are stuck in different

parts of the country and just before recording this episode we found out our son Preston

has COVID and events are being postponed.

Last year was strange enough entering that year with like an unknown sense of where is

this headed but this, this new year, just the fatigue, like God are we seriously still

looking at maps of where the virus is exploding and there's new variant?

Are we literally talking about a new variant?
