Let's get into the mix.

Here are your Washington headlines of the day.

Number one, it's a big week for House Republicans. First up the budget resolution, then government funding. Number two, Republicans here in earful on Doge back home. And number three, what to watch in the Senate. All right, Jake, let's get into it. It is a massive week for House Republicans. They are trying to move at a speed we usually do not see here in Washington. Speaker Mike Johnson and the House GOP leadership

are planning on putting their multi-trillion dollar budget resolution on the floor Tuesday.

That leaves less than one day in session for Johnson, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise

and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer to get their rank and file members in line before the high stakes vote.

This is a very big risk here and a tricky decision by the leadership of House Republicans to do this,

trying to create that sense of urgency, but not giving themselves basically any room for error, Jake.

Yeah, so there's like, there's three things that are going on right now that are interesting to me.

And this is what our top says this morning.

As just reviewing what you just said here, they have a budget on the budget resolution on the

floor this week. They're doing it Tuesday. So today's Monday. Tomorrow's Tuesday.
