own. Welcome to the Blind By Podcast. Sometimes I like to begin the podcast by our release

synopsis and what the weather is like outside. Do this quite often and this mornin as I was

thinking to myself. How am I gonna synopsis today's weather for the glorious consul

isn't the this podcast? Because here's what struck me. I'm very familiar with January.

I've been dealing with January now for three decades and this mornin is about 10 a.m.

It looked like January. Visually the information that I was receiving was pure

January. It was 10 a.m. that's not that early. That's almost midday but it was 10 a.m.

it was overcast and it was so dark that all the chires had their lights on. You know

and those chires probably won't turn their lights off. It's that twilight period.

The two months are on the Salis this where we get a little bit nardic and it's dark all day long

and I reflected on this visual information but it didn't feel that way. It felt more like

May the April. It was sweaty and clammy and warm and humid. So much so that I asked my phone what

temperature it was and my phone tone it was 13 degrees. How things looked and how things

felt were at odds with each other. The feeling was contradicting my memories of previous

January's and then I realized ah I'm describing fucking global warming in real time. That's what's

happening and every year it's getting. Oh there's a little siren. Let's let the siren of

Limrick City do its thing. Until it disappears off into the distance with the Doppler effect

but I'm experiencing an unasiness as an artist when describing the weather now, when reflecting on

it, when taking an unbored, when using it to set a scene. I mean artists use the weather frequently

to set scenes, painters do it, poets do it, writers do it. Because it's a little common

trough of sensations that we can all dip into. Like when I said to you, it was one of those
