How my name is Father Mike Schmidt's and this is a sense of resistance.

So have you ever been in this kind of situation where it could be,

it could be something like this like maybe someone starts talking about the church in a way

that's really disparaging or we're kind of really ugly or they talk about someone that you know,

a joint, a mutual friend that in a way they're talking about them as being really disparaging

or really ugly or basically kind of one of those situations where I'm even talking about the Lord

and it's like, okay, you're talking about God but you're talking in a way that just like, I,

this is, this is, again, disparaging, this is really ugly. I don't, sometimes it's like there's

no other way to say it, really ugly, but you don't say anything. Have you ever had that kind of

situation where, okay, something's happening and I didn't say anything or it could even be the

kind of situation. I mean, there was a show years ago, maybe it's still on, but it's called,

what would you do? And they basically have all these cameras set up and they create a very

uncomfortable situation. Maybe it's an unjust situation, maybe it's a cruel situation, maybe it's just

a really weird situation and they ask people to film them and see what they do in that cruel,

unjust or unusual situation. We have that question like, what would I do in those moments?

If you've ever been in that situation and my guess is that as a human being, you've been in that

situation, we can look back and say, okay, what went wrong? Like, why didn't I say something?

Why didn't I stand up? And the way I see it, there's, there's a couple of different options.

And there's three main options and I think there might be a fourth at the end, but we can look

back and examine our hearts and say, okay, I didn't speak up whether that was, you know, I didn't
