Second Chronicles chapter 1, verse 10,

Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people.

For who can govern this people of yours, which is so great.

If you recognize this verse, it's when God tells Solomon

at the beginning of his reign as king, I'll give you whatever you ask. And this is what Solomon asked for.

Give me wisdom and knowledge. He says, I can't lead this people without the wisdom that you alone can provide me.

And God is honored by this request. God gladly gives him wisdom and so much more, which then leads

us in the New Testament. Like this is the promise for every single one of our lives.

Ask for wisdom. James chapter one tells us and God will generously give it to us. He does not

withhold his wisdom. He gladly and generously gives his wisdom to everyone who ask for it.

So where do you need wisdom today? Ask God for that wisdom and trust.

Believe. Don't doubt. That's what James 1 says.

Believe that God will give it and he will.

James 3 talks about the spirit of wisdom that he's put inside of us. He will give us the wisdom we need

when we ask. So God, author of wisdom, giver of wisdom, we pray for wisdom in our lives. God, I think in

my own life about so many areas I need wisdom right now.

And life and family and work, God, I need your wisdom. I don't want to live based on my

wisdom, based on what I know, based on what I see. I want to live based on what you know and based on what you see and based on what I know based on what I see I want to live based on what you know and

based on what you see and based on what is best according to your will not mine so I

pray God I pray for wisdom in my own life and I pray for this over brothers and sisters in

Christ right now who are praying for wisdom, who need wisdom in so many ways
