The After Death Chronicles,

true stories of comfort, guidance and wisdom from beyond the veil.

The book interlaces Mattingley's own extensive conversations

with her deceased daughter,

with stories from over 80 people across the

country who have experienced similar contact. Well, Annie, thank you very much for coming

onto the podcast. It's really kind of you to give us your time. I've read your book,

the After Death Chronicles, and it's absolutely fascinating. Can you tell us what prompted you to write this book?

Well, it's a subject that I didn't choose. It chose me, in the way that life often does,

through the most difficult experience of my life, because eight years ago, eight years and two days ago, because it was just this weekend, the anniversary

of my daughter's death.

My daughter died, and some weeks later, I had a visitation from her in the early morning,

which was a total surprise and an absolutely wonderful gift.

And that prompted me because there were some subsequent visitations to kind of cautiously share with a few friends

and to discover that many people had had things of this nature happen with people who they loved, who had died.

And I was shocked. For one thing, I knew these people well, and they hadn't told this to me before.
