0:07.0	As we begin, I want to turn our attention to this idea of wisdom.
0:15.0	Wisdom.
0:17.0	The Bible expresses that we can ask for wisdom,
0:25.1	and God gives wisdom freely.
0:32.2	So I want us to take time today to ask God for wisdom.
0:38.4	Wisdom to make good decisions.
0:43.6	Wisdom to move forward with strength and courage.
0:53.7	The Bible says in Proverbs 9 that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
1:00.2	This idea that a holy awe of God is where wisdom in fact begins.
1:11.9	I don't know about you, but I want to walk wisely.
1:19.8	Society tells us to walk fast.
1:23.9	In fact, don't walk, run, pursue, make quick decisions.
1:34.3	And yet, wisdom is this ancient term that speaks to trust, that speaks to understanding, and applying that wisdom to our lives can
1:53.9	draws us closer to the person of Jesus.
2:04.7	Yeah. to the person of Jesus. Wisdom is seeing beyond the moment
2:06.6	to the bigger picture.
2:11.2	Wisdom is recognizing consequences
2:13.5	before we make decisions.
2:34.3	Wisdom is choosing to be patient over impulse. The Bible tells us wisdom oftentimes reveals itself in our lives through listening before we speak.
2:44.5	What if the next few moments were dedicated to asking God who gives it liberally for wisdom?
2:52.2	I'd like to open us up with a prayer asking God for wisdom.
