Two years ago this week, the state of Wisconsin rated the homes of political activists seizing computers, documents, and... The state prohibited those

seizing computers, documents, and seizing emails

from those activists internet service providers.

And then the state prohibited those under investigation

from telling anyone about it.

Two years later, no charges have been filed, no property has been returned.

Eric O'Keefe is one of those activists.

We spoke at the Cato Institute's Cato Club 200 events last week.

It was two years ago that I was served with a six-page subpoena in Wisconsin related to my political

activities and it was a sweeping subpoena looking for all of my

emails with dozens of people in organizations across a four-year period and it indicated that they already had been spying on us for a

long time which was subsequently confirmed and a much worse thing happened that

day which is four of my associates had their family that

that was four of my associates had their family homes rated in the dark.

And that was stunning, of course, and I disclosed that to the Wall Street Journal,

which began covering this closely.

And in those cases, too, they were looking for political files,

computers, cell phones, and political information.
