Hurricane Helene made landfall late Thursday with 140 mile per hour winds, devastating parts of North Florida.

The storm struck near Perry, Florida,

marking the third hurricane to hit Taylor County in 13 months. Emergency crews are working to

clear debris and assess damage in areas like St. Mark's where floodwaters reached the

rooftops of homes. Helene has now moved over Georgia where 700,000 people are

without power and the storm is dropping up to 15 inches of rain over North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee.

An 89-year-old woman was sentenced to three years probation Thursday for violating the

Face Act during a peaceful protest in Tennessee.

Daily Wire reporter Le Mejue was in the courtroom when Eva Edel, who is a survivor of a

Yugoslavian concentration camp, testified about how her Christian faith inspired her pro-life
