In Madison, protesters packed the capital again today

as Republican Governor Scott Walker refused to negotiate his controversial budget bill.

Walker's plan is aimed at a $137 million shortfall.

Public workers say they'll agree to what amounts to a pay cut,

but not to limitations on their right to organize.

President Obama's accused Walker of an assault against unions,

and minority Senate Democrats have left the state to prevent Republicans from changing the law.

We'll get the latest on a bitter dispute focused on government workers and the economy.
