This one was really fun to listen to during production for several reasons.

First, I love how Asha calls out the gulf between fitness media and real people fitness.

This episode is truly for all of us real people out there.

Second, it was a good reminder of the need to have different creative solutions for different seasons if you

live in a place with multiple seasons, including many feet of snow. Third, this episode was a really

great reminder of the evolution of movement as we age. On the more introspective side, at the time of

this recording, Asha was approaching 50 and was really thinking about what she wanted in the

next 10 years of her life. And then for me, listening to this recording from six years ago,

there is a real clear evolution of action. For example, I talk about tennis, which John and I

loved playing, but we kind of fell out of it when we got our dog James. I would love to get back

to it this spring. I also talk about skiing, and I was injured a couple of ski seasons after the

pandemic and then discovered during that time of injury how much I loved being the lounge,

lodge person by the fire while my family skied. So I have really been embracing that. These days,

I'm primarily a walker, which I do all year round, and I love my rowing in strength classes,
