You might know Winston from his role as ‘M’baku’ in Black Panther, and maybe you’ll by now have caught him in the incredible new Jordan Peele joint Us - well, if that’s the case, or if you’re new to the world of Winston, it’s a genuine banger and perfectly short and sweet conversation. Expect to hear a lot in the slightly shorter running time, from how South By South West alters the outlook of a film for the best, the many layers and nuances of a character and how to get there, being able to elaborate on dualities in a character, working with the absolute powerhouse that is Jordan Peele, being able to work in complexities into his roles, black psychology and a look at some previous roles, including Black Panther and how the ensemble cast made room and space for each other.
