Welcome in to my new long form interview podcast called Winds and Losses.

I am utterly intrigued by the degree to which a lot of times in this country today we

focus only on the end product.

How did somebody end up being successful?

We only focus on the success.

We don't focus on the journey.

To steal a line from Nick Saban, the process is often more important than the result.

And I don't feel like we spend much time on the process, on the journey between Winds and

Losses and also on how frequently Winds are also accompanied by losses very often we

only end with the result.

And I feel like in a social media age where we've got Instagram and we've got curated

Twitter feeds and Facebook feeds where people only show the good things in life.

I feel like the struggles in life are oftentimes much more entertaining and much more illuminating

and trying to give us a sense of how we ended up where we did.

And so today's guest, a guy's good friend of mine and I am utterly fascinated to hear
