For the instruction this morning, open your Bible to Romans 8.

We are doing a series in Romans 8, and we'll continue in this chapter.

I'm not in any hurry to get through it because there's so much here that is very important

for us.

Let me read the opening nine verses again just to set it in your minds.

The Apostle Paul says, therefore, based on all that he has taught in chapters 5, 6, and 7 about

the gospel and salvation in Christ, because of all of that, there is now no condemnation

for those who are in Christ Jesus.

We looked at that.

We are in no condemnation status. Why? Because

our condemnation was born by Christ in His death on the cross. We will never be condemned.

Because, verse 2, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and

death.

For what the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did sending his own
