Hello and welcome back to Kowal a podcast of original children's bedtime stories and meditations,

designed to make bedtime a dream.

In tonight's story, we're visiting Sleepy Forest on a very special day.

We're going to be the lucky ones to attend the grand opening of a sparkly brand new shop

with the delightful name Heavenly Hats.

It's the ambitious new idea of the wonderful Wharthog and the polite peacock who dream of creating the perfect hat for every animal that walks through their doors.

We're going to learn a lot about hats and who likes to wear what.

So in readiness, let's hop into bed and clear our heads.

Lie back and clear our heads.

Lie back and rest your head on your pillow and gently breathe out.

Maybe put your hands gently on your tummy so that when you breathe in they softly move up and down with your breath.

Lovely. Now let's get started and so we can soon meet our two magical milliners.

This is Winnie the Whorthog's Heavenly Hats by Jane Thomas. Something new is coming to Sleepy Forest, everyone is excited. It isn't something anybody

really thought they needed. Not until they saw the posters and the

advertisements in the newspaper and then suddenly they all wondered how they'd ever lived without it.

Heavenly Hats was written in huge red bold letters across the tops of posters and underneath in a golden

scroll it said we've got you covered a picture of a wombat wearing a very smart

bowler hat filled the middle of the poster and down in the

bottom right-hand corner was a small photograph of a warthog and a peacock both beaming

and each wearing an elaborate hat covered in flowers and fruits and sparkly bits and dangly bits.

Winnie and Patrick can't wait to welcome you, it said in tiny lettering beneath that.
