It is Friday, August 1st, the post-trade deadline cleanup.

We are going to dig into the winners, the losers, all the fallout, as we promised during the live stream episode on Thursday.

We're going to evaluate the situations that have changed significantly as a result of all of the trades.

A record-breaking number of trades on deadline day, according to our friends over at Cessputis Barbecue.

You know, it felt like

there were a lot of trades. So I'm glad the official clicker showed the number we were hoping for.

It got hectic on the live screen. We're just like, this is happening. And oh, we forgot to

mention this. And oh, Charlie Morton. It was pretty intense. It was hard to kind of keep your

mind wrapped around the bigger picture.

Hopefully we can provide some of that today.

I've been sort of thinking it through ever since it happened.

I mean, so much that happens that you have to kind of step back and think about it

from different directions, you know, who sold the best, you know, who bought tepidly the best, you know,

who went, who went hardest in, you know, all those sort of things. There's different answers for

all those. Yeah. And of course, around the deadline, it always seems to be that if there's injury

news or other stuff happening in the game, that gets sort of pushed aside.

For instance, as we get started today, Ronald Acuna Jr. had an MRI because he was shelved with

Achilles' soreness or Achilles inflammation initially. That MRI showed a grade one calf

strain, which I think will lead Acuna and fans to breathe a sigh of relief.

Now, I think the question would just be, if you have the situation in Atlanta record-wise,

like it is, and you have Acuna, as a guy that said, two ACL tears, you probably exercise a little bit more caution in these final two months, even
