Hello everybody. Welcome back to I'll read what she's reading. I'm Reggie. I'm Michaela. And I'm Kennedy. And we're celebrating the month of love with some, you know, romance-themed episodes. And today we're going to be discussing

the Windy City series, which you know it's kind of had us in a chokehold for the past few months.

So we're excited to chat about it before we begin. It's just a reminder. We're currently

the episode. But let's get into the Windy City series.

We're going to kind of do this like we do our book club episodes, just a little bit different

because we are talking about five books. So we'll start. We'll go in order with each book,

share our faves, least faves, and the average rating from you guys as listeners,

because we had you guys fill out a little form for us on Instagram. And then after we go through

each book with those things, we will discuss our favorite male main character, female

main character, maybe rank the books,

and then that's when we'll kind of get into fancasts is at the very end of the episode.

So, without further ado, let's get into Mile High, which, okay, we feel bad that we

didn't love Mile High, okay?

Michaela didn't even read it because she knew that me and Kennedy didn't love it. I DNFed it. Kennedy pushed through. She finished it. And we understand there's a lot of you out there that loved this book and we're so glad you loved it. It just wasn't for us, unfortunately. Okay, here's the thing. Since I'm the only one that finished it, I do have to give credit where credit is due. By the end of the book, Xanders does have, it's Xanders, right? Not Xander. Okay, yeah. He has a lot of character development. Okay. The beginning of the book, he starts off as this playboy being inside of his head as a woman was really hard.
