Even though stocks finished the week higher, investors have several new reasons to snap out of the holiday-weekend lull as economic and market uncertainties still loom ahead... like the geopolitical risks surrounding Taiwan's elections, a stateside natural disaster, and the latest in struggling world economies. 0:55.0	takeaway? Well, yeah, obviously a lot of people are talking about what's going on in China right now
0:59.3	with these protests and it's making haylines over the weekend as I was awakening from my
1:05.9	Thanksgiving day post- Thanksgiving slumber. I saw these Taiwan elections where basically they had a lot of
1:13.6	local elections over the weekend for mayors and local governments and that sort of thing.
1:18.4	And the results showed support for the nationalist party, which, the opposition party to the ruling Democratic Progressive
1:30.0	Party, which was campaigning more on the concern of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. And so actually,
1:37.7	the Taiwanese president resigned over the weekend from the leadership of her own party. Sounds like the
1:43.6	UK, actually.
1:45.5	Yeah, it does.
1:46.9	And that's just kind of a interesting story, I think, because, you know, we've been talking a lot,
1:52.4	or a lot of people have been talking a lot about the possibility of China invading Taiwan
1:58.9	or taking over Taiwan.
2:01.3	And the people of Taiwan basically just voted in local leaders that aren't as concerned
