Summary

The last ever Manic Monday was a day of breakthroughs, with 11 players reaching their first quarter-final at Wimbledon, among them Ons Jabeur, Aryna Sabalenka, Ash Barty, Karolina Pliskova, Denis Shapovalov, and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Catherine, David and Matt chat about all of those significant wins, but not before discussing the sad end to Emma Raducanu’s run, who was forced to retire against Ajla Tomljanovic due to breathing difficulties.

1:16.4	Yes, because we've ended on a real downer. We have. But my overarching feeling of today
1:23.3	is it was a day of real breakthroughs for so many players. Lots of players made big steps in their
1:30.4	careers today. Either reaching a first-grantsam quarterfinal or reaching a first-wimbledon
1:36.0	quarterfinal or beating a nemesis or just doing something we've not seen them do before. And I
1:43.2	enjoyed watching that a lot. Monumental Monday. I was going to go ahead. I was thinking of the same.

1:57.4	Misurable Monday. Yeah. Yeah. Let's do that.
