Hello, welcome back to boxing conversations.

You might have noticed it has been a while and um apologies for that um

the news about rickie hatton meant i was not frankly up to doing anything um i was not in a position

to interview people i still can't really speak about Ricky, particularly well or particularly easily.

I do want to do a lot about Ricky in the future, but now just doesn't seem to be the time.

It seems to be very raw.

And it's not for me to, I don't know, it's very sad, it's really sad.

And, you know, I'm loath to be seen to be getting clicks or hits and trying to make the most out of things at this time.

So I do want to do Ricky justice in time. And I did manage to write about

Ricky for boxing scene. And that kind of took every ounce of my being for a while. I mean,

it took me 10 days to get to do it. Yeah, it's been really raw. And I'm not going to try and make out

that I've got it worse because I know, and you know, I've spoken to a lot of these people, but you're Jamie Mores, you're Matt McClins, you're Anthony Farnels, Paul Smith, you know, so many Billy Graham, I've spoken to all these guys, and so many of them have known Ricky far longer

than me, and then that's even before you get to the family.

So I have no intention of making this about my relationship with Ricky.

But I also didn't want to start again without mentioning it and sort of saying, I wonder if

a few people have

been looking for some podcasts with me about about ricky and stuff and maybe they'll come in time

but now's not the time um so i am uh picking the podcast back up uh there's a big show in scotland
