who made one of the best rock albums of the year with coping mechanism.

It draws on stuff like system of a down and down and

it draws on stuff like system of a Down and Death Tones and is a really strong follow-up to her previous

rock album, Last Years Lately, I Feel Everything, which is a little more pop-punk influence. punk influenced hit with her side project the anxiety a great

song called Meet Me At the Spot. Along the way you won't hear it but we were

interrupted more than once by her dog who happens to be named corn K-O-R-N, in case you have any doubt about her rock and

metal credentials. But here's my interview with Willow. Willa. I saw your show in New York at terminal 5. I saw your show in New York at Terminal 5. I've been to a lot of rock concerts in my life. I think this was the single most diverse audience at a rock concert I've ever been to and I think that's an achievement in itself.

Hell yeah, I mean I pride myself for the fact that I feel like the people who are attracted

to my music and attracted to them to my message.

They love inclusivity and they love to connect with different people and to

expand their perspectives about life and about art and about everything really in every way that they can.

So I love that.

It also was a super young audience.

People have been saying Rock is dead for a long time

and the young people don't like Rock.

They love it.

And I think the biggest thing I think we get

hung up on genres but I think the biggest thing is just authenticity and feeling

like they can relate I think that not just young people people of all feeling like,

feeling like they can relate.
