Turn with me, please, this morning in the scriptures to Isaiah, the first chapter, Isaiah 1.

We've been on this now for some weeks, and I didn't believe we're quite done

the Lord's already talking to me about

some things that come after this

it'll be good

but we want to finish

what we're into

before we do anything else.

Isaiah the first chapter and verse two,

Isaiah 1 and 2.

It said,

Here, oh heavens, give here, O earth,

for the Lord has spoken.

I have nourished and brought up children

and they have rebelled against me.

You know, also in Isaiah it says,

all we like sheep have gone our own way.

I've nourished and brought up children

and they have rebelled against me.

The ox knows his owner, the ass is master's crib,

but Israel does not know. my people does not consider.

Another translation says they don't understand.
