My name is Joseph Hurst.

I live in Ankeny, Iowa, and I'm part of the PMBA program.

I currently work as the Director of Sales at Stony Creek Hotels in Johnson, Iowa,

and I chose the Iowa State MBA program because it just made perfect sense. About two years ago, I started

this wonderful program and I couldn't imagine not having done it. What has helped the most

balanced work, life, school has been the people I'm in class with. It's great to go through

questions, problems, study for tests, and it just makes the whole class so much easier. As a working professional thinking about doing an MBA program, I get night classes aren't everybody's dreams. I get, after a long day of work, you may not want to go do more, but it's worth it. You're going to learn a lot not just from the professors in the program, but from the other students. They go from all walks to life. They are from different age groups. They're from different companies. They're from all kinds of different backgrounds. They've got all kinds of

different stories. And after two years, I've made some of the best friends I've ever made, learned

the most I've ever learned, and I can't imagine what we're going to do after we're done.
