Cassidy Cash from That Shakespeare Life podcast on to educate me, and maybe you too, on the life

of William Shakespeare. But before we get started, here's a little bit about Cassidy. Cassidy Cash is an

award-winning filmmaker, artist, and host of the podcast, That Shakespeare Life.

Cassidy believes that in order to take Shakespeare's work from page to performance,

understanding the history of the man who wrote them is essential.

Welcome, Cassidy. Hi, Rebecca. Thank you for having me. I'm so excited to have you on the show and

excited to talk about William Shakespeare. So with that,

I want to start from the beginning with you today because those of us who are passionate about a

subject usually have a great story to tell about how we got started or what drew us to a subject.

So what got you interested in Shakespeare? I love this question. I was originally drawn into Shakespeare by his works. I was a young

reader and even today I struggle visually with letters seeing them something about my eyes.
