The William Regal is returning to W. W. E. That is according to P. W. Insider, who cut through a lot of the speculation over the past couple of days with the following.

In an update on William Regal, P.W.insider.com is told that he is finalizing a new deal with

W. W. and is currently expected to officially start after the new year. As we

previously reported he is returning for a backstage role.

This ends, as I say, several days of speculation about the AEW status of one William Regal and confirms,

all but confirms that Regal is heading back to Stamford.

Contract back in January, ending a 21 year tenure in the company.
