Good morning, everyone. And welcome back to the Messy masterpiece podcast, which had

in Tori. We are super excited to be devoting ourselves to the Lord with you this morning.

And also, we're happy to be remembering Memorial Day.

Yeah, it's such a special day.

Yeah, if you don't know it, that is here in the United States. We use this day to remember

those soldiers who have fallen to give us the freedoms that we currently have.

So we definitely want to give a shout out to those who have family members and friends

who have lost loved ones are served in order to give us freedom.

Yeah, we definitely want to give honor where honor is due. It is more than just a long

weekend. There's been families who've been super impacted by this. And so we definitely

want to remember their sacrifice.

Absolutely. So you want to hop into today's episode?

Yes. Y'all, today we are in Revelation 3 verse 20 and it's titled invite Jesus in.

It says, look, I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will

come in and we will share a meal together as friends. The love letter from God says,

beloved child, every day I knock at the door of your heart. You feel me in your spirit,

but sometimes your thoughts and concerns are too loud for you to hear my voice. All that you're

trying to accomplish would be so much more effortless if you would come to me first so I could

give you the encouragement and strength to live your daily life. I know it seems too simple

at solution to just stop and spend time with me. However, apart from me, you will waste your days

investing in things that will not last and have no real value. Open the door and invite me in

before you start your day. I will nourish your soul with spiritual food that can't be bought

...
