Let me start by wishing everybody a happy new year. It's 2006. Norlander, I trust you, had a happy new year. I spent mine in the woods. How was your new year? Yeah, actually, can we, it was good. Hung out of home, did the whole thing. Well, I thought the wife was going to cash out at about 10.20. She rallied, made it to midnight. Love to see it. You look a few days ahead of the pace of me right now, Miami, because I got my ski weekend coming up in a week, and I'm going to be in a lodge and a log cabin with plenty of wood around me. Are you scoping out where I'm going? Where are you right now? For anyone watching, Parrish is not, he's not at his Memphis studio. He's not in a hotel in New York City. He's not his home studio. He looks like he might be in the woods of Vermont right now. Where are you? I'm in the woods of Georgia. I'm in a mountain. I'm a mountain man right now. I'm at Lookout Mountain. I'm in the middle of the woods.

woods this is outrageous so here's the whole story that the quickest version I can give you so I told

you I think I told you our oldest son lives in Chattanooga Tennessee now with his with his girlfriend

and they came home for Christmas and our guy, his birthday is December 27th.

And we said, yo, man, what do you want for your birthday? You can do anything you want for your birthday. We'll give you the best 12-year-old birthday party you ever had. What do you want to do? And he said, all I would like to do is when Aiden and Julie go back home, I would like to go back to Chattanooga with them and just like spend a few days with them.

I said, all right, let me talk to your older brother about that.

He said, you know what?

It'll be perfect. And so they did that. Then we got to go pick him up because I didn't want to ask my oldest son to drive back home to bring home his little brother. So I said, all right, we'll come pick him up around New Year's or something. And then my wife, she suggests, she said, well, why don't we just stay there, get a place

in the, like, you know, in the mountains?

Let's just get a place in the mountains for New Year's. We'll spend New Year's in the mountains. I said, all right, I never done that before. I spent New Year's a lot of different places. I've never done this before, but it does sound kind to sweet.

I think I talked to you about we had stayed in the mountains one time for Christmas,

and it felt the right way.
