Well, happy Friday afternoon here in the Please Convince Me podcast. It is a blistering week here in Southern California, at least where I live, in terms of the heat, I think summer has finally caught up with us. We had a really

mild summer prior to this and it was no real reason to even run for cover in terms of air conditioning

or anything like that until just this week.

Now I don't have air conditioning at my house, so because usually it's pretty mild here.

But boy, I would be sure could have used it this week.

And so I'm sitting here, you may hear the background noise of my ceiling fan on the highest possible setting

trying to stay cool as I get through today's podcast and so glad to have a week where I'm home on our Friday and can actually do this so I'm trying to have a week where I'm home on a Friday and can actually do this.

So I'm trying to sneak this in before other things in the afternoon that will eventually take up my time,

including preparing and getting ready to assemble materials for the next book that I'm getting ready to write and of course that takes some time just to assemble all the resources that you want to use. I've been collecting resources over the last year or so in anticipation of this and now it's time to organize those resources and I kind of run them by some friends to see what they think and make some additions, take some things out and just all of this before I even

begin to do any writing.
