fight. Let's get into it. Day eight of the government shutdown, quite a government shutdown this is. It is so strange.

Like every day feels like it's a month and nothing is going on and the two parties just kept getting dug in deeper on day nine, which is tomorrow we will have, if the shutdown continues, which we anticipate

it will. We will have Ruben Gallego on flyout day. Gallego is our first rank and file guest

on flyout day for our reporter Gab Fest afterwards. We'll have Igor Bobbick of the Huffington

Post and John Bresnahan. Now let's talk about the news. We want to focus this

morning. We've written on military pay on how the government and how the Trump administration and

Republicans in Congress, whether and how they're going to pay soldiers, sailors, airmen, and

Marines. This is a humongous flashpoint, and it always is. And to be

honest with you, this shutdown is a little bit different because in our, in the last shutdown,

which was 2018, 2019, lasted, I think, 35 days. It was a partial shutdown. The Pentagon was funded.

So this shutdown, it is not. This is a full shutdown. One week from today,
