And welcome back, Tom Hartman here with you and there was a caller who pointed out that every single piece of legislation i mean just

some some great bills

that have been passed by the democrats

uh... a i mean very substantial pieces of legislation they passed the American Dream and

Promise Act to provide pathway to citizenship for hard-working immigrants they

passed a package of bills to protect people's access to health care they passed a

bill to cut the price on prescription drugs. They passed a disaster relief bill.

They passed the Equality Act to guarantee it to prevent discrimination based on sexual orientation gender identity

they pass to build a restore net neutrality they passed a climate

action now bill to protect our climate they pass legislation to reauthorize expand the

violence against women act they pass a legislation requiring background to reauthorize to expand the Violence Against Women Act.

They pass legislation requiring background checks

and on gun sales.

They pass legislation to close the gender pay gap.

They passed historic anti-corruption reform, HR1,

that would also harden our election systems against

hacking from foreigners or even from people within the United States.

All of these things went to the Senate and all of them have been stopped dead by Mitch McConnell.

Well, Mitch McConnell needs the debt ceiling to be raised.

Donald Trump's tax cut through our country into this year a $1 trillion deficit. We have a trillion dollar deficit this year because the

tax cut gave you know a trillion dollars to the top one percent and so McConnell needs something.
