On Monday afternoon, the Israeli Air Force began a new wave of air strikes in central Iran,

taking the Israeli military operations into their fourth day. In just four days, Israel has managed to achieve complete air superiority over its most

implacable enemy and is now dominant militarily across the Middle East. We're wondering if

Israel strikes on Iran will bring about a regime change. And we're also wondering how close America might be to entering war with Iran.

It's Emily. And this week we have seen Israel strike at Iranian nuclear facilities, military installations,

even civilian energy infrastructure, i.e. gas plants, high-ranking military leaders, nuclear

scientists. And it has really been a pretty audacious blow at what Israelis have long called,

have long believed is an existential threat, the regime of Iran.

And Iran, not surprisingly, has retaliated after a totally surprise attack.

Yeah, strikes hit Iran's Revolutionary Guard, command centers in Tehran overnight, Israel has said.

Iranian strikes,

meanwhile, killing several people in Israel. It is worth just dwelling on, as I was saying there,

the extraordinary capabilities that Israel has managed to demonstrate. Not only the intelligence,

as we were saying on Friday, which has allowed them to target so precisely so many senior members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard and its government. But to achieve

such air superiority, military superiority against an opponent that was always considered to be

at least Israel's equal speaks to Iran's weakness, this moment of weakness,

but also Israel's remarkable technical abilities. And all that said, though,

though Israel has damaged critical Iranian nuclear infrastructure, killed many scientists.
