I am Matt Love, and I am finally here with J.D. Greer again.

You know, I've been doing these intros for nobody for the last year.

J.D.'s been talking with all these other people, not with me.

So I'm just happy to be back. This is exciting. It feels, feels home, feels like home, feels safe.

I'm excited. I'm ready to get back in there with you, J.D.

Nobody brings out answers from me like you do, Matt Love.

That's good. That's good. That's what we're going for. And I mean, here's the thing. All jokes aside, the gospel and politics series was really

helpful, unbelievable guests, unbelievable people that you were able to talk to. And I know

it was really helpful for a lot of people in this season. But we're back to listener questions,

which we're very excited about. Thank you guys so much for sending these in. And we're starting

with a listener named Andrew,

who just asked, could you attempt to provide some clarity on whether an earthly marriage between

Christians means that husband and wife relationship carries into eternity? Or I'll just kind of make it a

little simpler. Will there really be no marriage in heaven, J.D.? Well, you know, Andrew, interestingly enough, at the time of this recording, this past weekend, I actually preached on this very subject. And so it's kind of fresh in my mind. You know, I do think that there's going to be some mystery and nuance to some of the things we talk about,

but there are some things that are clear, and maybe that's a good place for us to start.

Mark 12 is the place where Jesus probably most clearly addresses this particular situation.

It says this.

It says that there was a group named the Sadducees, who Mark says didn't believe in the resurrection.

And so they're coming up with a question to try to trap Jesus,

you know, trying to get him on record that the resurrection of the body doesn't make any sense.

And here's the question they ask him.
