So Clive is an illustrious journalist who's worked all over some of the UK's most famous news outlets and is now a columnist on the

Daily Beast and based in lovely New York. So joining us via The Wonders of the Internet,

but he is with us today because he has written a book called The Last Queen, which let's face it, that's a slightly provocative title, isn't it?

It's deliberately so. It's sort of a title that came to me because I felt this was a book that in a sense I had to write and that only I could write because of the coincidence that my career as a journalist is more or less

run parallel with the Queen's career as Queen. So there are not many people who are in

the same line of work for as long as that for 70 years.
