Okay, a shisty is what Jazz Chisholm was wearing on the field in their last game to keep warm because the

Bahamian is of course not used to playing in these conditions but they're also very stylish just on the street

things that you wear. I bring all this up to say because my favorite thing

about the Major League Baseball playoffs aside from the competition is that we

suddenly moved to all this cold weather clothing for all of the people involved.

You've been in New York, what did you think about what we saw outer rare wise

in this series between the Guardians and the Yankees?

Well, I can tell you personally, Clinton,

I left my overcoat at home

in just the absolute rookiest maneuver of all time.

I was like a mile away from my house.

And I was like, you know what October's like, you know how cold it gets.

And seeing the reaction from players, especially like players who grew up in the Caribbean,

they're like, baseball wasn't made for this, but as someone who grew up in Cleveland, I'm like baseball was exactly made for this.

Do you think it affects games at all? How much of a factor do you think weather becomes this late in the season?

You know, having spent time in Washington, D.C. during the winter,

as opposed to spending time now in Los Angeles during the winter.

These are two very different things and when your body starts shivering and you're getting that feedback that says, I don't feel great,

and you have to go out there and then hit a baseball that's coming at you at 95 miles an hour, I'm never going to be able to say the weather has a demonstrable effect on guys. It's just something that I know.
