Summary

As horrific stories -- and stories of miracles -- continue to pour in from Southern California, residents are waking up to the fact that their state and local governments, dominated by Democrats for decades, have failed them. No water in hydrants. Budget cuts to fire departments. No traffic cops to ease evacuations. And suffocating environmental laws that lead to mismanagement of land and water resources. Residents are fed up. Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow lives in SoCal. His home is safe -- for now -- says this might be the event that triggers Californians to go conservative. Listen to the end: you've got to hear Alex's response to Caller Joan, who says city slickers Alex and Mike really should get out into the country more!
