And now it kind of seems like he started a new war that is going to raise prices and might ruin the economy.

I think what happened to Donald Trump is the same thing that's happened to every president in the modern era,

or at least in the post-Cold War era, with the possible exception of Joe Biden,

which is that they've all had their Madeline Albright moment. Let's recall in 1993-ish,

Madeline Albright was then a UN ambassador, said in exasperation to Colin Powell about Bosnia, you know, what's the point of having this

superb military if you're not ever going to use it? Every president gets to that place, everyone.

So Trump discovered that he could press the big red button saying military, and he could,

with very minimal American damage, damaged American

lives, get rid of the Venezuelan dictator and put him in a jail about a mile and a half

from where I'm sitting. That was very exciting for him. It was very exciting for Marco Rubio,

who thought, okay, now this is the domino that's going to help Cuba go next. And so Trump

thinks that he can get a series of regime change or transition wars done

kind of on the cheap by pressing the big red button.

And that's what he's trying to do.

And what we're seeing now is that oil's gone up above $100 a share, $100 a barrel, and all kinds of unforeseen consequences
