Tyler says I personally see JJ winning the job is the absolute best case scenario

long term. Jefferson has had nine quarterbacks. Oh, yeah. Well, it, so there's, yeah, I mean, there's part of me that wants to say maybe not,

because if he wins the job, that means something went really wrong with Kyler, probably.

I think the best case scenario is that Kyler is just awesome and you keep him for a while

and then you're trying to win every year and you know who your quarterback is.

I think that's probably the best case scenario.

With McCarthy, I mean, yeah, if he wins it and Kyler was really good and he just somehow

played better, okay, I guess I see where you're coming from.

But there's also this thing about players who haven't played that much, who are draft

picks, where we always assume that their upside is just higher than everyone else who's

actually in the NFL.

This is a thing that happens because of our obsession with the draft,

is that we always just assume if someone is young,

their upside is just ridiculous,

that they could just be a big, mega, super freak star.

I mean, if your struggle is consistency and accuracy,

and you couldn't really get the offense down and you're erratic and

everything else. And you don't have freakish skill. He is not a freakish runner. He is not a

freakish thrower in any way. He's not exceptionally big. Is the ceiling really higher than it would

be if Kyler Murray just worked out? I don't think so. I think the ceiling is higher if Kyler really higher than it would be if Kyler Murray just worked out?

Like, I don't think so.
