In 1 Corinthians chapter 15, Paul said something that I think is confused a lot of people.

In writing about the end of the age, he said, and this is from verse 24, he said,

Then come at the end when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the

father, when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. And then in verse 28, Paul

said, And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the son also himself be subject

unto him that put all things under him that God may be all in all.

That's quite a mouthful, but the initial reading of this verse does seem to imply that not only

is there a distinction between the father and the son, but also a subordinate role for the son.
