I recently had a friend send me a tweet of his. His name is Michael Sobolick. He's been on sideline sanity before talking about the troubling relationship between the United States

and China and really just the troubling government that is the CCP, the Chinese Communist Party.

He sends me this tweet and he writes, it appears the NBA still hasn't learned a thing.

And in the tweet is this Chinese diplomat.

He was an NBA or excuse me, a U.S. ambassador from China.

And he's at a Washington Wizards game and he's taking a free throw on the NBA basketball court.

And this was December 27th, 2022, just a week or so ago.

And he writes,

tried my first throw at an NBA game at Wash Wizards.

Also renewed our special relationship as Washington Wizards was the first NBA team to visit China in 1979

when our two countries established diplomatic relationship.

So the NBA has been criticized, and I think rightly so, for being so entangled with China that

they can't even criticize the oppression and the genocide that the CCP is responsible for,

the Uyghurs who are dying and being tortured and the slavery

that is going on in China.

And so Michael Sobolik critiques them once again by saying having this ambassador take free throws

at a game in December still appears the NBA hasn't learned a thing.
