because I know they lost last night. So maybe it seems like I'm going to pile on. Not at all. I actually think when I watch this team. Well, I mean, people could say, well, they do. Like one thing a friend of mine said when it came out that Brunson and Anobie weren't playing yesterday, it was that they're giving up the game. No, they did not give up that game at all.

And then they were down 16 again. They ultimately lost by whatever it was 9 or 10. But what I took from this game was without Jalen Brunson and without O.G. Ananoby, you are seeing the depth of this team because they were more than competitive.

Again, that's a tie game late third quarter.

And that was withstanding Anthony Edwards just playing out of his mind in the third quarter.

And then Julius Randall had a monster.

He didn't start off well because I think he was like three for 11 behind the arc and then the fourth quarter he was just coming downhill and the Knicks couldn't do nothing. And well, he was doing everything he wanted to do. Yes. Like they couldn't stop him. Even when he would get into some traffic in the paint, he had some sort of little move left, move right, step back, make the shot.

He had 40 points. I thought watching the pieces that you wouldn't necessarily see play as much as they did, like Cola getting the start.

But they were, this team is built to win. I don't know necessarily if they can win an NBA

championship because of a team like the Thunder. I don't know that they can't though. What I do know

is the more I watch them, the more I believe they are the bad. And I know people will say,

some people will say Detroit. I think they're the best team in the east, and I find it going into the Christmas Day slate tomorrow, they got the, I think it's the early game, I think they play at noon. I find it hard to believe that this team is not going to cruise through the Eastern Conference, at least get to the conference final. It feels like it. I think they're shooting 47% from the field. And I also think right now when you watch the effort, and I think that's what we're highlighting, especially after a night, they could have just had a late, listen, you go down early, you don't have OG, you don't have Brunson, you say, hey, man, let's chalk it up, let's get ready for Thursday night. They didn't do that. They kind of knuckled up and they put up a good fight. I think that just shows the character of his team, especially when there was so much talk about Mike Brown. You know, when he got here, you know, you didn't want to lose the edge that Tibbs had set for this team. He was worried about that. We haven't seen that. Actually, you saw this team really kind of take some pride in the night with Jordan Clarkson.

Big Cat put it on his shoulders, and they really put on a show. So I think if you're paying attention to the Knicks, you're looking at a team who's really building momentum for when the playoffs come, right? And they seem like their team that's kind

of getting stronger as they go. Can they win it? I don't know, but it feels like they have an opportunity to. Now, they have to stay healthy. I mean, that's number one. You've got to stay healthy. And if you're watching this in Detroit, like, I get it. Pistons all the way and they've had a great season. I just, when I look at
