And greetings my friends, Patriots lovers of democracy truth and justice believers and peace

freedom in the American way. I rant today about Ron DeSantis and pulling a jab bush, I'll get to

that in just a moment. And also is the January 6th commission going to basically nail Trump's

ass to the wall today as the perpetrator of this attempted coup. I suspect so.

And the New York Times is reporting that half of Republicans now are ready to move on past Trump.

And six out of 10 Republicans think that he's largely responsible for the insurrection,

which is like G, rocket science anybody. But that said, the thing that shocked me the most was the

instant translation by the white supremacists, the white racists out there, the followers of Donald

Trump, this this movement to maintain a white America, white power in America, be wild was

immediately interpreted as be violent, be murderous. That's pretty astonishing.

I think it's important for us to remember I was listening to the Daily, the New York Times

podcast yesterday. I often listened to it when I'm driving or walking home from work.

They were talking about how when Barack Obama was elected our first black president in 2008,

the backlash, the white backlash was absolutely massive. And that led to the Tea Party in 2009,

led to a massive Republican effort to seize power at the state level in 2010, over 500 state
