Donald Trump has raised a quarter of a billion dollars on the claim that the election was stolen

from him when he knew all along it was a lie and that he lost the election fair and square.

We have been warned about Donald Trump and the current state of the Republican party and the

crazies that have been animating it literally since the 1960s. It was in 1954 when the Supreme Court

reversed their own 1896 plusy versus Ferguson decision and said no, we can't have legal

school segregation in the United States any longer. It was 1954 when they did that and that

produced an explosion basically. The need for integrated schools or the demand, the Supreme Court

demand for integrated schools led to the creation of the John Birch Society.

It led to a whole bunch of right wing splinter groups. It altered the course of the Republican

party and the Democratic party within a decade the Democratic party would have passed civil rights

legislation, voting rights legislation. You know had embraced the idea of a pluralistic

multiracial society. The Republican party on the other hand within a decade and a half had

Nixon's southern strategy and had embraced largely southern races that had been basically abandoned
