Hey everybody. Welcome to the Bucking podcast. I'm Jared Ate-Saxton. Nick Howlinson? Nick how we doing?

We're doing really well. I'm exercising a lot and I feel like I can get things done all of a sudden. It's really interesting, by the way, how that works.

It's really shocking how those things kind of go hand in hand. Everybody, we got a full show. And we're going to be talking about that, actually, about the feeling that something has shifted. And that's like a big thing we got to talk about. We got to talk about Josh Hawley, absolutely declaring war on Senate leadership. We got to talk about whatever in the hell is going on with Donald Trump. And I feel like you can say that every day of the week. And it means something different. We got a lot of things to get into. But first things first, Nick, the Democratic Party is keeping control of the Senate? They are. Can you believe it? Without even having to worry about Georgia. We got to talk about Georgia. We got to talk about what it means and this sort of like prevailing idea about like Georgia doesn't matter now, which is nuts, quite frankly.

But man, Luxalt went down in Nevada and you were the one who told me, by the way.

And I went out, I was out in Nevada at UNLV given a lecture and a really good friend of

mine had told me that she, she just, she didn't have hope on this thing, that it was a done deal,

that was going to get lost. And I have to tell you, I, I am pretty astounded by it as well.

This goes down, and also we got to talk about Mark Kelly

defeating Blake Masters. That'll come in a second. But what, what's your initial reaction on this

thing? There's so much happening. Well, I think the biggest thing we, we were seeing here, and it might

take a little while to get perspective on this, is that I think America said no to fascism.

This was, and even though we might not hold on to the house, the fact that it didn't shift at all to the right, barely at all, means that a lot of people said, you know what, we're not going to take any of this anymore.

And when we get into holiday, there will be more to talk about it specifically with this. But that is sort of like, this is the time. I think 20 years from now,

when we look back, we're going to say that this was the election where the American people

said, we are, we can't, we're not taking this anymore. And it took a while to start to get

enough of the independence, I suppose, away from the Republican side. But that is

basically what's what happened. You know, I, we got a lot to talk about in terms of like how the

vibes have shifted. And it's part, I think in part of its midterms, I think it's other stuff too.

And we'll get into that. But Nick, I've been thinking a lot we were broadcasting our our live coverage on

election night and one of the first things we talked about i think it was about an hour into the

show was when the um the uh out out the polls came out right whenever the exit polls came out

and we we said oh my god 50% of everybody asked said that their biggest
