Where are the Fed's chances of navigating this just perfectly?

Well, I think they're way under 50%. I'm not sure if it's 35, 38, 40, not zero.

There are voices, as you know, that are saying, you know, it's game over at zero and there's no way

in hell that the Fed is going to have a soft landing under these circumstances. I'm not there at all.

book out on the history of U.S. monetary policy and he says, the Fed's job today of bringing down

inflation without breaking the economy isn't nearly as impossible as many investors say.
