Today, why the police officer who shot dead an unarmed man in London, was cleared of his murder.

A quick warning before we start, there is some swearing in this episode which also includes

audio of a shooting that Aoudi SUV. Caber was driving around South London and a top of the range Audi SUV when he

realized he was being followed by the police. He was eventually boxed in on a quiet side street. Armed police swarmed his car.

But he didn't get out. Instead he tried to ram his way out. Even when surrounded by police

marksmen, it proved to be a fatal mistake.

40 year old Martin Blake shot him through the windscreen.

Cabo was the fourth unarmed man shot dead by the Met since 2005.

All, like him, were black or mixed race.

When Blake went on trial at the Old Bailey, the stakes were unusually high.

It was the trial of the year.

I think it was the trial of the year in terms of what was at stake in terms of the pure court case and what was on resting on it coming out of it and at the very

simplest level there's a story of two different families that of Martin Blake

whether their loved one would be going to prison for the rest of his life as they

see it for doing his duty.

And on the other hand, you heard the family of Chris Caba

who believed that he was wrongly shot and they lost him.

They've lost him forever.

On Monday, Blake was cleared of murder at the old Bailey.
